Anthony Joshua squashes the idea that there’s a stipulation to his fight with Jake Paul.
Last month, Netflix announced that Paul and Joshua will fight at heavyweight on December 19th. The event will take place on Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida.
While speaking to TMZ Sports in a new interview, Anthony Joshua was asked about fans believing he may take a dive against Paul, with Joshua noting that there is no stipulation in the fight contract where he has to take it easy on Jake Paul.
“I understand. I understand their concerns, but this is the thing. Jake, they’ve got to start believing in him because, like they don’t believe it because they’re saying, how is he beating these guys? I think they can’t get their head around. How did he beat Anderson Silva? How did he beat Nate Diaz? How did he beat Mike Tyson? I’m telling you, there’s no stipulation in the contract where I have to take it easy on him.”
Elsewhere on the Joshua vs Paul card, two UFC legends will also face off. You can read more about that here.
