Katie Taylor Victorious In Final Fight Of Career

Katie Taylor wraps up her career with a victory.

Katie Taylor walked away with a win in her final career fight, defeating Flora Pili in front of 83,000 fans at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland.

Taylor scored the victory by unanimous decision, outboxing Pili with her footwork and hand speed. In the final ten seconds, Taylor unleashed a flurry of punches, bringing the crowd to its feet as her career came to a close.

Pili was undefeated coming into the fight.

Taylor, 40, finishes her professional career with a 26-1 record, winning the WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO, IBO, and The Ring super lightweight titles and WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring lightweight titles during her career. Her lone loss came in May 2023 when she dropped a majority decision to Chantelle Cameron. She avenged the loss in November 2023, defeating Cameron by majority decision.

Of her 26 wins, 19 came by knockout.

Along with a second-to-none professional career, she was a decorated amateur boxer, winning the gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics.

She is considered by many to be the greatest female boxer of all-time. Her second fight against Amanda Serrano, which took place as the co-main event for Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson, is the most-watched female fight in boxing history, with an average minute audience (AMA) of 47 million.
