Ryan Garcia's fight on the Canelo Alvarez vs. Sergey Kovalev card has been finalized with several undercard bouts also announced.

Golden Boy Promotions announced that Garcia will take on Romero Duno in the co-main event of the Alvarez vs. Kovalev card, set for November 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The fight will also serve to unify the vacant WBC Silver lightweight title with Duno's NABO title.

Garcia has had a turbulent past few months that included a fight against Avery Sparrow being canceled the day before the fight and issues with Golden Boy Promotions that was settled with Garcia signing a contract extension.

That's not the only fight on the undercard with world title implications as an IBF junior middleweight title eliminator between Bakhram Murtazaliev and Jorge Fortea was also announced. Murtazaliev was originally supposed to fight Jeison Rosario but Rosario pulled out of the fight due to injury.

Other fights on the undercard include unbeaten flyweights Seniesa Estrada and Marlen Esparza finally settling their feud with the interim flyweight title on the line. Unbeaten prospect Blair Cobbs will look to continue his rapid ascent when he takes on Carlos Ortiz. Evan Holyfield, whose father is former undisputed heavyweight world champion Evander Holyfield, will make his pro debut.
