Team Raw has another new member for its elimination match against Smackdown at Survivor Series.
WWE announced today via Twitter that Raw GM (and Raw team captain) Kurt Angle would be adding Braun Strowman to his team. This comes after an angle on Raw last night where Braun Strowman resurrected himself from the dead after being compacted inside a garbage truck at WWE TLC and brutally attacked Miz and the Miztorauge.
Smackdown’s team has Randy Orton already set for the match. Two more matches tonight on Smackdown will determine the next participants in the bout. Kevin Owens will face Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode will face Dolph Ziggler in a 2 out of 3 falls match. Randy Orton beat Sami Zayn in a match last week on Smackdown to earn his spot.
Kurt Angle was named captian of the team after Stephanie McMahon appeared on Raw for the first time since WrestleMania and appointed him to the position, telling him that his job would be on the line if Raw didn't beat Smackdown at Survivor Series. Shane McMahon is reported to be the captian of the Smackdown side.
