A bantamweight division attraction is the latest addition to the upcoming UFC On Fox 25 card as Brian Kelleher is looking for another victory against Marlon Vera.
Kelleher (17-7-0) is currently undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated Iuri Alcantara by submission earlier this month at UFC 212. Kelleher is also entering the fight riding a seven fight winning streak, which has already lasted over three years. Kelleher has also competed twice under the Bellator MMA banner, having dropped both of those fights to Jimmie Rivera and Claudio Ledesma.
Vera (9-3-1) has won three of five in the UFC, with those three wins coming over Roman Salazar, Gunagyou Ning and Brad Pickett. Vera also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter Latin America 1, losing to Enrique Briones in the quarterfinals. Vera is competing on his first ever “UFC On Fox” card in his UFC career, which has lasted just under three years now.
UFC On Fox 25 takes place on Saturday, July 22 from the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York with Chris Weidman and Kelvin Gastelum in the main event. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which is going to be airing live on Fox.
