Bully Ray After ROH Concussion: "I’m Not Even Sure If My Career Should Continue”

Last Friday, at the conclusion of their Six Man Tag Match at Death Before Dishonor on September 22nd, Jay Briscoe turned on his partner Bully Ray and hit him with the edge of a table.

Bully Ray doesn't really remember that happening.

He spent Friday night in the hospital with his old buddy Tommy Dreamer by his side:

Saturday didn't go so well for the former WWE Tag Team Champion either.

On Busted Open Radio yesterday, he said that his doctors have told him to stay calm, to keep from getting too excited, and stay away from loud noises. It was at this point that he admitted he doesn't really recall much from the match that night.

And when his co-host asked him whether this might be serious enough that he has concerns about lasting impacts, Ray said, “so much so that I’m not even sure if my career should continue.”

Bully Ray showed up at Ring of Honor's NYC event on March 4, and has been paired up with Jay and Mark Briscoe pretty much ever since. The trio held the ROH Six Man Tag Championships for a few months earlier this year before losing them to Dalton Castle & The Boys.
