Y2J is back.
Chris Jericho made his surprise return to SmackDown tonight by interrupting a segment between new US Champ Kevin Owens and the man he beat Sunday at Battleground, AJ Styles.
Both Jericho, who beat Owens for the title at Payback back in April before losing it on Smackdown two days later (and being carried off on a stretcher), and Styles demanded their rematch.
Owens said no, but SD Live commissioner Shane McMahon said yes.
Oh, and we should probably mention that Jericho put Styles on The List. Seems relevant.
The match was a great one, and Jericho looked great, even though he took the pinfall when Owens hit a Pop-Up Powerbomb on him, then AJ tossed KO out of the ring and stole a victory with the 1-2-3.
