His opponent Mickey Gall weighed in immediately after which is not necessarily the norm in the new early weigh-in era. Gall weighed in a half pound heavier than CM Punk. For a few moments after their weigh-in Gall and CM Punk stood around a catered table provided for the fighters. McBride weighed in during the first thirty minutes of the window and gave indication that he would not try to lose any more weight. Sean Spencer weighed in with only ten minutes remaining in the weigh-in. He asked to be shielded by a towel as he got on the scale completely nude.
Alistair Overeem weighed in last at 11:03. Overeem will be fined five hundred dollars, he seemed surprised he was late.
