Combate Americas has a new English-speaking home.
Initially reported by Fightful.com contributor and boxing podcast co-host Steve Muehlhausen, Combate will appear on ESPN starting at the end of the month.
The promotion, which uses controversial pro wrestling star Alberto Del Rio as a figurehead, formerly appeared on UFC Fight Pass. Their first show under the agreement will be streamed live on ESPN 3 July 27 from the Mana Wynwood Convention Center in Miami, Florida.
The show features Nick and Nate Diaz partner Chris Avila, who was recently cut by the UFC.
