Conor McGregor Issues Statement On Vegas Shooting

Tragedy struck in the city of Las Vegas when a lone shooter opened fire on a crowd attending an outdoor country music festival at the Mandalay Bay.

Currently, a total of 59 people were murdered by the lone gunman, while over 500 people where injured by the gunman’s actions.

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor has fought many times before in Las Vegas and he issued a statement on the shootings.

Absolutely devastated upon hearing the news in Las Vegas. A city with so much energy and life. A city of celebration and enjoyment. A city so close to my heart. I pray for all the victims, their families, and everyone affected by this senseless act of violence --

McGregor has won four of his five UFC bouts that took place in Las Vegas, with those wins coming over Dustin Poirier, Chad Mendes, Jose Aldo and Nate Diaz.

The Money Fight was the last time McGregor competed in the city, the UFC Lightweight Champion suffered a tenth round TKO loss to Floyd Mayweather that night.
