Conor McGregor Says He Will Get Back To MMA Training

Conor McGregor plans to work on his fatigue and his grappling after losing the biggest fight of his career.

Floyd Mayweather scored his TKO against Conor McGregor in the tenth round. At the post-fight press conference, McGregor said he would have enjoyed getting past the tenth round.

Karrion Kross: There's Something Much Bigger Going On Here Than What's Happening In The Ring

"I would have liked to see the end of the tenth. I think fatigue is like a patch. There's a patch somewhere in the middle of the fight, even in the Diaz-2 fight. I have this patch where I must overcome. I get a little wobbly, but it's more fatigue," said McGregor. "I would have liked to see the end of round ten and see what it would have brought us," he added.

According to McGregor, his fight camp was focused on his cardiovascular fitness and he claimed he usually caught a "second wind" towards the end of his twelve round sparring sessions. He said he worked hard in his camp and will continue to work on this "patch" of fatigue.

"You can say what you want, I put in so much work for this. I worked my fucking ass off. I really properly worked my ass off. There is something to get over, these dips in the middle area of a fight. It's happened to me a few times. I just need to figure it out and keep pushing and keep going," said McGregor.

Besides overcoming his fatigue, McGregor said he will soon begin training in the techniques he needs for mixed-martial-arts. He said he does not know what is next for him, but he also said he has "multiple titles" in UFC to consider.

"I will get back into my jiu jitsu training, I will get back into my freestyle wrestling training, I will be engaging in my kicking again. And we will see what's next," said McGregor.

The way which Mayweather fought McGregor had an effect on McGregor. He said he will look to take the things he learned fighting Mayweather with him in his mixed-martial-arts and boxing career.
