Conor McGregor Threatens Floyd Mayweather’s Bodyguards

UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and boxing great Floyd Mayweather have had some heated exchanges during their worldwide media tour.

McGregor also got into a near brawl with Mayweathers bodyguards during the New York City portion of the tour and the Irishman has a warning for them if it happens again.

“We’re having a good time, but I’ll tell you what, if those f*cking juiceheads [do that again], I’ll slap the hell out of all of them,” McGregor said at a media event. “If something like that happens at the next one, something will have to happen.”

During the final stop of the tour, there was a brief verbal battle between McGregor and the bodyguards, but nothing took place physically.

The Irishman even has quite the nickname for Mayweather’s team of bodyguards.

“Juicehead fools,” McGregor said. “I don’t know, man. I didn’t even see them until they were on top of me. I was like, ‘what?’ and then everybody was pushing and shoving. But, handbags, we call that back where I come from. It means it’s nothing, it’s just handbags. It’s just a term we use.”

Conor McGregor versus Floyd Mayweather takes place on Saturday, August 26 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
