Corey Anderson Wants Patrick Cummins To Still Fight At UFC 217

Corey Anderson was supposed to fight Patrick Cummins on the preliminary card of UFC 217, but then Cummins pulled out of the fight due to a staph infection.

If it were up to the TUF champion, the staph infection battling Cummins would treat his condition and still step into the Octagon.

Anderson made his feelings known through an Instagram post:

Even if Cummins stays off the card, the fans could still have the shot to see Anderson fight because UFC officials are seeking a replacement opponent for him.

Cummins has yet to respond to the request of Anderson and the UFC has yet to officialy say that he is off of the UFC 217 card.
