Last night's, during the last-ever WWE Live Event at Detroit's Joe Louis Arena, it was announced that WWE would be returning to the largest city in Michigan for 2017's rendition of the Hell in a Cell PPV.
The Little Caesars Arena is the new event center that is opening to replace the closing Joe Louis Arena. It will host both the NHL's Detroit Red Wings and the NBA's Detroit Pistons.
Hell in a Cell 2017 will be WWE's first ever visit to "The Big Pizza" and will take place on October 8. It will be a Smackdown exclusive PPV.
Last year's Hell in a Cell was a RAW exclusive event taking place in Boston, and notably featured the first ever Women's Hell in a Cell match, as Charlotte defeated Sasha Banks in the Main Event of the night.
