DDP Says Scott Hall Is 'OK' Despite Missed Bookings

Concern over the well-being and whereabouts of Scott Hall swirled through social media on Sunday after the WWE Hall of Famer missed an independent show booking.

Jay Repsel, the CEO of Dreamwave Wrestling, sent out a tweet on Sunday after Hall missed the scheduled Dreamwave event the previous night in La Salle, Ill.

Later on Sunday, Diamond Dallas Page provided an update on Hall which, although it lacked details, indicated that the former Outsider was not in any sort of peril.

Hall has been battling drug and alcohol issues for years and had a relapse earlier this year at an Atlanta airport in bar. During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Hall said, “I’m not where I want to be, but I thank God I’m not where I used to be. It’s a slippery slope. I’ve fallen in the past, and I may fall again in the future, but I get up now. There were times in the past when I’d fall and I’d just stay there. Now, when I fall, I get up.”

Hall has not posted on his Twitter account since Thursday. He, Kevin Nash, Shawn Michaels and Sean Waltman all were supposed to appear at the Dreamwave event, but only Michaels and Nash were able to attend. Waltman tweeted that he experienced travel problems:
