Deonna Purrazzo Hopes To Tour With STARDOM Again

Deonna Purrazzo says Japan was always a career goal.

The twenty-three-year-old Deonna Purrazzo has already wrestled for the biggest companies in the United States including being on WWE television. She also went to Japan to wrestle for the STARDOM promotion which she wrote about in Fightful's Pro Series. On The List and Ya Boy, Fightful Wrestling's podcast Purrazzo was asked about going back to Japan.

Karrion Kross: There's Something Much Bigger Going On Here Than What's Happening In The Ring

"I think either by the end of the year or by the end of the new year, I will be able to get back with STARDOM. Like I've said it was always a goal of mine. I had every book about wrestling, every DVD, and every magazine. The people that inspired me the most were people who had been able to say they went to Japan. In my mind, it was always 'if you're a good wrestler and you know your craft, you went to Japan and you learned and you trained'," said Purrazzo. "Being able to get that opportunity so early in my career was just an amazing feeling. I jumped at that opportunity. There was no doubt I was going to go, because it was something I always wanted to do," she continued.

Purrazzo also discussed any adjustments she had to make to live in Japan. She said STARDOM took care of a lot of things which allowed for an easier transition. She also had individuals she worked with who helped her along the way. However, she did have some problems with the chaotic train stations. She said men would bump into her if she stopped walking and she felt like she was expected to move out of the men's way.
