Eric Bischoff Doesn't Like John Cena As A Free Agent

While "Free Agent" John Cena has many confused, Eric Bischoff isn't particularly fond of the idea.

WWE announced that Cena would return to the company on Smackdown Live July 4 after being out of action for three months. Upon his return, he'll not belong to a particular brand, instead serving as a free agent.

"I don’t dig it. I’ve said from the very beginning on this podcast that I predicted that it’ll become almost a non-issue at some point unless they really commit to making those brands feel different and unique. Like two different companies. If all you’re going to do is paint one red and paint one blue and talent is going to transition back and forth on a regular basis you’re calling it a brand split but it’s not. It’s just two different shows," said Bischoff on his Bischoff on Wrestling Podcast.

This is similar to what happened with The Undertaker both last year and this year ahead of his assumed retirement.

No word on if the Golden State Warriors have courted Cena.
