Additional details have emerged after the major shakeup of TNA's front office.
Fightful.com has been told by multiple sources within TNA that Billy Corgan's move to President of TNA is completely legit, and not a part of a storyline as many suspected when the news was announced. This is being seen internally as a way for Dixie Carter to save face. The parent company has also been renamed Impact Ventures.
Talent was told of the move this afternoon during a meeting, and were surprised that the information made it's way online as quickly as it did. TNA had issued a press release minutes after the information was revealed to employees. Corgan was said to have spoken to the employees and was well received.
Regarding the feeling among talents, we were told that it was a positive one, with talent thinking the move was overdue. Corgan has taken over the role of controlling day-to-day operations effective immediately.
TNA will be holding tapings over the next week, which will lead up to their October Bound For Glory event. Thus far, the only match set is Lashley defending the TNA Championship against former champion Ethan Carter III.
