UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion Cristiane “Cyborg”Justino is coming off of a successful title defense over former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm at UFC 219.

The UFC President in Dana White has suggested that Cyborg’s next opponent would be UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Amanda Nunes, but its a suggestion Cyborg doesn’t agree with.

Unranked UFC Fighters to Watch out for in 2024

“You know Amanda (Nunes), she (fought at 145 pounds a long time ago and if you check her (record) at 145 pounds, she doesn’t have much success. Alexis Davis beat her (by) TKO and Cat Zingano beat her, you know…she don’t beat everybody at 135 (pounds). No, she is just thinking about money when she was getting paid to fight Ronda Rousey, she (was) getting paid good and Ronda Rousey made three million in the fight. Then she fight Miesha Tate on Brock Lesnar card (UFC 200) and she getting paid in the future. You know, she is just thinking about getting paid, because you know by herself, she never say anything about any money. She is barely making $100,000 on pay-per-view and of course she wants to fight me because she want to make the money. I understand that, everybody wants to get their money,” Cyborg said in an exclusive interview with Fightful’s James Lynch.

Nunes has already stated through Twitter that she is all in for a fight with the UFC Women’s Featherweight Champion.

Cyborg would be all in to, but she would want to make the super fight a part of a super event.

“For the first super fight, lets make it a super fight card, a champ and big name people on the card. I can make $100,000 in the parking lot, pick somebody and I’ll fight there and make ($100,000). I think you have to follow my fans because my fan base wants different fights. She fought at 145, but she never get any fights for the belt. I was the champion in Strikeforce when she start fighting and now we can make this fight. I have three fights left on my contract, I think the right thing is to have the opportunity for girls (who fought at) 145. You can make super fight and lets talk about it, but lets make a super event to. Lets make it a five super fight super event and for super money. I’ll have my manager talk to the UFC and see whats gonna work and see whats gonna happen,” says Cyborg.

This whole scenario about the potential super fight has even put Cyborg against American Top Team (ATT) coach Conan Silveira in a war of words.
