Exclusive: Jim Ross Talks Projects With Jeff Jarrett

Jim Ross has no plans to get involved in a professional capacity with Impact Wrestling, but has worked with Jeff Jarrett in the past and considers the new head of creative for the promotion to be a good friend.

JR discussed his relationship with Jarrett during his exclusive interview with Fightful.com managing editor Sean Ross Sapp. During last week's set of tapings for Impact Wrestling, the big screen in the venue plugged Ross' upcoming one-man show during WrestleMania weekend in Orlando.

That plug fueled speculation that Ross would start working with Impact in some capacity soon. On the podcast, JR noted that in this day and age, no one could do something nice for someone else without cynicism kicking in and wondering what motivated that good deed.

"I saw it on Twitter for the first time and was very impressed and was very thankful that they thought of me," JR said of the advertisement for his one-man show.

Ross also discussed his friendship with Jarrett and past professional dealings, which included the Jarretts, Jeff and Karen, appearing on JR's one-man show last year during WrestleMania weekend in Dallas from the House Of Blues.

"Jeff and I are working on some other projects together. We've done other projects together," JR said, adding, "Karen's a Pittsburgh girl, my wife is a Pittsburgh girl as well. I knew her when she was married to Kurt, I've known her for a long time. I'm pulling for those folks, and they reciprocate. They're pulling for me."
