EXCLUSIVE: Matt Riddle Says Impact Wrestling Has Asked For His Contact Info

Matt Riddle says he's been indirectly contacted by Impact Wrestling.

The wrestling promotion formerly known as TNA has been experiencing a lot of changes lately. Some of the top talent at Impact Wrestling have left over the past week including Drew Galloway and The Hardy Brothers.

ROH On Honor Club (4/18/2024) Results: Mark Briscoe, Beast Mortos, Lady Frost, Bryan Keith, More

On his weekly podcast with Fightful Wrestling, Riddle said the company has attempted to get ahold of him.

"They haven't been contacting me direct, because they don't have my contact information. But, they've contacted people to get a hold of me, I've been so busy though I haven't got back to that yet. But I don't want to mention names of said contacts but one of my former coaches and ECW alumni at the Monster Factory told me somebody wanted my information," said Riddle.

Currently Riddle is signed to a contract with Evolve, but has liberties to wrestle for other independent promotions and to look for bigger opportunities. Fightful Wrestling's podcast host Sean Ross Sapp asked him what he would be allowed to do regarding Impact Wrestling and Riddle said he was unsure.

"I don't know what the legalities with TNA are, I know Ring of Honor is a big 'no-no' but I know WWE is ok, I know we do work with Drew Galloway, EC3, and other people that were under contract with TNA. So I don't know what the grounds on that are, I know I wouldn't talk to them without talking with Evolve and WWN first," said Riddle

Riddle feels optimistic about the changes to Impact Wrestling because he believes the new owners are cutting the heaviest costs of their operation. On this week's podcast, Riddle also discussed what he thought about Impact Wrestling losing talent and Saturday's UFC 209 event.
