- WWE announced Matt Hardy vs. Elias, as well as Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Breezango for tonight's Survivor Series Kickoff Show.
- The Georgia Dome is set for implosion on Monday after standing for 25 years. It has a big history with pro wrestling, particularly during the Monday Night Wars as it was the place where Goldberg defeated Hulk Hogan to win the WCW title. It was also the home of WrestleMania 28.
- WWE.com covered the passing of AC/DC co-founder Malcolm Young, noting that his songs were used often in the WWE, most notably at SummerSlam 1998 (Highway to Hell) and at WrestleMania 25 (Shoot to Thrill, War Machine).
