- Darryl Sharma, who most recently worked as a coach for Santino Marella's Battle Arts Academy in the Toronto, Ontario area as well as for Great Khali's CWE Academy as a trainer, has been signed by WWE as a referee and will be reporting to NXT. Years ago when Fightful.com owner Jimmy Van promoted independent wrestling shows in Ontario, he booked a young Sharma on several occasions under his character at the time, The Hornet. He went on to become a well known indy wrestler in the area but also wrestled internationally as well.
