A lightweight division attraction is the latest addition to the upcoming UFC 216 card as Will Brooks is going to be in action against Nik Lentz.

Brooks (18-3-0) has won just one of three fights under the UFC banner, defeating Ross Pearson, while suffering defeats to Alex Oliveira and Charles Oliveira. Brooks is a former Bellator MMA Lightweight Champion, defeating Michael Chandler to win the gold at Bellator 120 in May of 2014. Brooks would defend the lightweight belt three times, but then relinquished the title when he signed with the UFC in 2016.

Lentz (27-8-2-1NC) has won two of his last three in the UFC, with those two wins coming over the duo of Danny Castillo and Michael McBride. Lentz did win four of six fights during his time in the featherweight division, with the most notable wins coming over Diego Nunes and Manny Gamburyan. Lentz also had a two fight series in the UFC against Charles Oliveira, fighting him to a no contest at UFC On Versus 4 and then losing to him at UFC Fight Night 67.
