The Former Damien Sandow Is Now The Former Impact Wrestling Star, Reveals He Has Left Company

The guy who was known as Damien Sandow in WWE is now the guy who was known as Aron Rex in TNA.

Rex, who debuted with TNA in August, became the first ever Grand Champion, then rebooted himself with a Liberace-type character back in October, hasn't been seen on TV since the big Wedding Segment that closed out the previous era in Impact Wrestling.

And now we know why.

During a recent interview at WrestleCon, Rex, whose real name is Aaron Haddad, told Title Match Wrestling that he is no longer with Impact Wrestling and teased that he is contemplating retirement.

“I don’t know if this is going to be it for me, because you know I’m no longer with Impact. Ending on this note is not a bad thing. I’m not saying that I’m never going to get in the ring again, but this (the atmosphere at WrestleCon) is pretty cool and I’d much rather have people remember me for all the good stuff.”

Sandow was perhaps at his best when portraying Mizdow, The Miz's "Stunt Double" in 2014 and early 2015.
