TNA Wrestling saw the on-screen debut of a longtime top-10 heavyweight and former UFC Champion Thursday night.
Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Josh Barnett appeared on the program, confronting longtime friend and TNA World Champion Bobby Lashley. Barnett said he was disappointed in how Lashley had represented himself.
The two will square off for the TNA World Championship on next week's episode of TNA Impact, which was taped last month.
Barnett is currently on the shelf as he was notified of a potential United States Anti Doping Agency violation in December 2016. He also serves as the color commentator for New Japan Pro Wrestling on AXS, and has wrestled for both NJPW and IGF in the past. Barnett is also a product of Billy Robinson, who was instrumental in training hundreds, if not thousands during his career.
