Former World Champ Reportedly Appearing At TNA Tapings Tonight, News On Who Was Offered Contracts, More

With so many wrestlers leaving the Impact Zone, it will be interesting to see who appears at the tapings tonight.

PWInsider reports that former world champion Magnus is believed to be returning this weekend at some point. The rumors of his being offered a contract circulated last month.

Former WCW nWo member Konnan, who was heavily featured in Season 1 of Lucha Underground, is also slated to appear. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also says that Matt Morgan is being brought back to the company.

Independent wrestlers Kongo Kong and Mario Bokara are set to appear at the tapings. Kong has worked for Jeff Jarrett’s GFW (as well as Juggalo Championship Wrestling) with a face-painted wildman gimmick. Bokara regularly appears with Wrestlepro and has wrestled for OVW in the past as well.

Brooke Adams recently returned to TNA after the birth of her son. She told a fan on Twitter that she wouldn't be at the tapings this weekend, though.

It's unclear if this means that she's left the company again, or just won't be appearing on TV soon..

It's also being said that Impact Wrestling reached out to former X-Division stand-out Low Ki about possibly returning but it looks like an agreement wasn't made for him to come back.

Tonight's episode of Impact on Pop is the last episode filmed at the last set of tapings, and features Josh Barnett vs Bobby Lashley for the World Title.
