Former WWE Announcer Gets UFC Job

Former WWE announcer Todd Grisham has landed a job with the UFC.

With longtime play-by-play announcer Mike Goldberg finishing up with the company at UFC 207, Fightful.com has been told Jon Anik will be filling in for him on pay-per-view broadcasts. Anik will be replaced in his FS1 duties by Grisham, who worked for WWE from 2004-2011.

Grisham has worked for ESPN since 2011, where he served as host of MMA Live, much like Anik. The 40-year old Grisham also hosted Fox Sports Channel's MLS broadcasts in 2007.

Grisham will also serve as an in-studio host on several productions. It's unknown how long the announce teams will remain as-is, as Dana White noted recently he has big plans that he hopes come together by June or July. Grisham's first UFC appearance will be January 15's UFC Fight Night show.
