Gegard Mousasi made his Bellator MMA debut at Bellator 185 earlier this year, defeating former middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko by decision.
Rory MacDonald believes that Shlemenko won that bout instead of Mousasi, but Mousasi thinks the middleweight contender looks like a mass murderer instead of a fighter.
“Rory MacDonald can get it himself,” Mousasi said on The MMA Hour. “Let him win his fight and then let him talk. He shouldn’t talk, he’s an idiot. He looks like a mass murderer. He should shut his mouth.”
MacDonald and Mousasi have fought in two promotions together (UFC & Bellator MMA), but have never competed against each other before.
Mousasi isn’t focusing on the mass murderer lookalike, but instead is concentrated on middleweight champion Rafael Carvalho and Bellator 190.
“I’m going to watch the fight (Carvalho vs. Alessio sakara),” Mousasi said. “I’m going to take some time off and whoever is next, whenever they give me the fight, I’m not in any hurry.”
Bellator 190 takes place on Saturday, December 9 from the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, Italy with Rafael Carvalho and Alessio Sakara headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs via tape delay on Spike TV.
