The former football player now has an 3-0-0 record as an amateur MMA fighter, with those other two victories coming over Joe Hawkins and Kenneth Woods.

After the fast knockout win, a happy Hardy had the following to say afterwards to Fansided

“It’s a rush. There is nothing like it. Nothing like a knockout. One of the most incredible feelings I ever had. Every second (of training) is worth it. I wish I could do more.”

Pat Doney of NBC Dallas-Fort Worth News captured the bout on video and posted the following on Twitter:

Despite a fairly successful run in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys, a series of run ins with the law would lead to Hardy exiting the sport and entering MMA. While the former NFL star does have an undefeated record as an amateur, all three of his opponents have an 0-3-0 record combined.
