GSP Hints That Fight With Michael Bisping Could Take Place In New York

Former UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St. Pierre is returning to action for the first time in three-plus years when he challenges UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping for the gold later this year.

GSP is also a longtime hockey fan, as he recently popped up at an NHL Playoff Game between the New York Rangers and the Ottawa Senators at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York.

During the game, the returning GSP posted a picture of himself at the game via Instagram, with an interesting caption underneath.

The UFC has already run three events in New York since MMA became legal in the state, those events were UFC 205, UFC Fight Night 102 and UFC 210.

Bellator MMA will be the next promotion to run in New York, with Bellator 180 takes place in Madison Square Garden on Saturday, June 24.

As of this writing, the UFC has yet to announce any events past this September and there is no return date set yet for the promotion to run again in New York.
