A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 194, first reported by MMA Fighting, as Heather Hardy faces Ana Julaton.
After their MMA fight is complete, a future boxing match will also take place between the competitors, but no date has been set yet for that portion of the encounter.
Hardy (1-1-0) is looking to rebound from her first professional MMA defeat, which came to Kristina Williams at Bellator 185. Hardy made her professional MMA debut last year at Bellator 180, defeating Alice Yauger by third round TKO. Hardy has no amateur MMA experience to speak of, but is undefeated thus far in her professional boxing career.
Julaton (2-3-0) is currently winless under the Bellator MMA banner, dropping a bout to Lisa Blaine at Bellator 185. Julaton hasn’t earned a victory in over three years, with her last win coming over Walaa Abbas Mohamed Kamaly at One FC 23. Julaton has seen four of her five professional MMA fights go the distance, with a record of 1-3-0 in those contests.
Bellator 194 takes place on Friday, February 16 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Roy Nelson and Matt Mitrione headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
