Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos is challenging Stipe Miocic for the heavyweight crown in the main event of UFC 211.

The former champion claims that the current heavyweight kingpin has no idea who he is as a fighter, despite their first meeting.

“The thing is, he doesn’t know 50 percent of the real Junior Dos Santos,” JDS told MMA Junkie Radio. “And on Saturday night, I’m ready to show him 100 percent of me.”

Dos Santos did defeat Miocic in their first encounter by unanimous decision in the main event of UFC On Fox 13.

Something that the former champion can readily admit is that the first encounter between the two a little while back was a tough one.

“The first fight was a really tough fight for us, but the biggest lesson is that you can’t underestimate anybody, especially in this division,” he said. “All the guys, they are tough opponents, and one punch can change the whole thing.”

UFC 211 takes place on Saturday, May 13 from the American Airlines Arena in Dallas, Texas with Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
