A featherweight division attraction is the latest addition to the upcoming UFC On Fox 24 card as #5 Jeremy Stephens will be facing Renato Moicano.
Stephens (25-13-0) has only won just two of his last six under the UFC banner, defeating Dennis Bermudez and Renan Barao, while suffering defeats to Cub Swanson, Charles Oliveira, Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar. Stephens will be competing on a Fox card for the first time in over three years, with his last appearance being at UFC On Fox 10 in 2014. Stephens hasn’t put a winning streak together in over three years.
Moicano (10-0-1) has already competed twice under the UFC banner, defeating Tom Niinimaki and Zubaira Tukhugov. Moicano also fought seven times in the Jungle Fight promotion and he has spent the majority of his pro MMA career in Brazil. Moicano signed with the UFC in 2014, but the Brazilian did defeat UFC veteran Iliarde Santos prior to coming to the promotion.
UFC On Fox 24 takes place on Saturday, April 15 from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri with Rose Namajunas and Michelle Waterson headlining.
