Jim Ross Gives His Prediction For Extreme Rules Fatal Five Way Match

Jim Ross wishes luck to the wrestler he sees as Brock Lesnar's next opponent.

At WWE Extreme Rules, the number one contender to Brock Lesnar's WWE Universal Championship will be decided. A fatal five-way match will determine the wrestler who will face Lesnar at WWE Great Balls of Fire. Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Bray Wyatt, and Samoa Joe will face off in a match that will be one fall to a finish. In his recent blog post, Jim Ross talked about the match and the build-up during this week's episode of Raw.

Cruz Del Toro Reveals He's Undergone Successful Surgery Following An Injury

"RAW Ramblings...enjoyed the two main event bouts including Reigns vs Rollins and the 3 Way between Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, and Bray Wyatt which all seemed to deliver as expected Monday night.  These five will seemingly be counted on to deliver a strong, show closing presentation on Sunday night on the WWE Network during Extreme Rules from Baltimore," wrote Ross.

Ross also theorized who he thinks will come out of the match victorious.

"As I said on this week's Ross Report Podcast, I see Finn Balor winning the main event Sunday at Extreme Rules which earns him a title bout with Brock Lesnar. Good luck on that one, Lad," wrote Ross.

Balor recently came back after being out for eight months with a shoulder injury. Two weeks ago, he appeared on screen with Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman. In the segment, Heyman emphasized Balor's talents inside the ring but said he would not be able to defeat Lesnar. Also in his blog, Ross discussed the events of Smackdown and the importance to matches having clean finishes.

Fightful Wrestling will be providing live coverage of both WWE Extreme Rules and WWE Great Balls of Fire. There will also be podcasts recapping each event.
