Jim Ross Says Pete Dunne Winning At Takeover: Chicago Was Not A Big Shock To Him

Ross called the instant classic of Pete Dunne vs. Tyler Bate at NXT Takeover: Chicago Saturday night, and the Illinois crowd was rocking.

"It felt great. It's always great to be back in this arena," Ross said. "A super city, an energized crowd. They love NXT, and to be a part of Takeover is a lot of fun for me."

Ross also called this week's United Kingdom special, and thinks that WWE fans will see more matches in line with this one from the United Kingdom region.

"Those two kids can wrestle. I'm impressed with the former champion, Tyler Bate. Pete Dunne winning was not a big shock to me. The thing about the UK scene is that the cupboards are loaded with stars we'll be seeing hopefully in the future," said Ross.
