Joe Rogan Believes McGregor Will Box Again

Joe Rogan was one of many celebrities and sport personalities who checked out The Money Fight between UFC Lightweight Champion Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather.

Despite an unknown future for McGregor in the sport of boxing, the longtime UFC color commentator believes the UFC Lightweight Champion will box again.

“I don’t think [Conor is done boxing]. Look, he went the very first fight against the greatest ever and he didn’t look too bad. If there’s a legit, big fight - say if Canelo Alvarez steps up and says that he wants to fight Conor McGregor, [Conor] might do it,” Rogan said on The Joe Rogan Experience.

In The Money Fight, the UFC Lightweight Champion did suffer a ten round TKO loss to Mayweather.

Rogan doesn’t just think McGregor should box again, but the UFC color commentator also believes he should get a rematch with Mayweather.

“He’s f**king Floyd Mayweather,” said Rogan. “He’s one of if not the best boxer ever and Conor did catch him with a couple things. . . They should [rematch]. Why not? I think Conor would have to beat somebody good in a boxing match and he would also have to have a real training camp.”

McGregor is expected to compete in the UFC in his next fight, a third bout against Nate Diaz has been rumored for quite some time.
