John Cena's first televised mixed tag match in over eight years is set, and it's against a pair of unlikely foes.
Cena and girlfriend Nikki Bella will team up in the ring for the first time on next week's Smackdown Live, as they take on Bella's former foe Carmella, and her new "friend," James Ellsworth. The match was pitched by Cena during a backstage segment on this week's Smackdown Live.
Cena and Nikki Bella confronted The Miz and Maryse on an episode of Miz TV this week, and the two couples look poised to clash at this year's WrestleMania 33.
This will be Cena's first televised mixed tag match since December 2008, when he teamed with Trish Stratus to defeat eventual Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella.
