UFC Ultimate Fighter 18 winner Julianna Pena hasn’t stepped foot in the Octagon since being submitted by Valentina Shevchenko at UFC On Fox 23.
It is going to be quite a while before fans will see the “Venezuelan Vixen” fight again because the MMA star recently announced that she’s expecting her first child.
The announcement was made by Pena through Instagram:
Pena has yet to reveal just how far along she is in her pregnancy, but she won’t be competing until late 2018 at the earliest.
A now pregnant Pena has won four fights in the UFC, defeating Jessica Rakoczy, Milana Dudieva, Jessica Eye and Cat Zingano. Despite the pregnancy announcement, the TUF champion is still sitting at #3 in the UFC Women’s Bantamweight Division rankings.
