Kamaru Usman last competed at UFC Fight Night Pittsburgh and scored a knockout victory over the unranked Sergio Moraes.

The Nigerian fighter recently called out the UFC for his perceived bad ranking in the division and then for the promotion not pushing him due to his heritage.

Usman has decided to take things into his own hands and has called out top ranked fighter Neil Magny for a fight this December.

It was through Twitter that the call out was made:

Magny last competed himself at UFC 215 and was submitted in the first round by former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael Dos Anjos.

There was a prompt response from Magny, not just to accept the bout, but even naming the event he wants it to happen at.

UFC official have yet to comment on the potential match up.

If the bout does happen at UFC 218, as Magny suggested, then the bout would be taking place on Saturday, December 2 from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
