Kenny Omega Indicates That Adam Cole's WWE Debut Was Difficult

Adam Cole made his WWE NXT debut at last weekend's NXT Takeover Brooklyn III show after years of rumors and rumblings that the two would do business together.

When Kenny Omega spoke to Sean Waltman this week on Waltman's X-Pac 1,2,360, he indicated that the signing was a tough one to make happen for Cole. While Omega didn't go into detail, he noted that he was happy that the debut finally happened.

"As friend to Adam Cole, I am not sure what I can say or cannot say but I know there was difficulty with that situation. I'm just happy as a friend of his that he was finally able to freely make his television debut."

Cole appeared in Bullet Club with Kenny Omega, including their offshoot "SuperKliq" with Young Bucks while in New Japan Pro Wrestling and Ring of Honor before moving on to WWE.
