Lance Palmer Ready To Face Undefeated Challenger At WSOF 35

MMA

World Series Of Fighting Featherweight Champion Lance Palmer will be defending the gold against Andre Harrison at the WSOF 35. Harrison will enter the fight undefeated, but that doesn’t faze the champion.

“When it comes down to it, everybody’s undefeated at some point in their career, and nobody ever thinks they’re going to lose a fight,” Palmer told MMA Junkie Radio. “After that first loss, he’ll have to go out and reevaluate and refocus himself. But coming into the fight, I’m sure he’s confident.”

Palmer is a two time WSOF Featherweight Champion, and this bout will be the first title defense for his second title reign. Even though he is a two time champion, the Team Alpha Male fighter still notices some things he wants to improve on.

“I definitely have a lot of room to improve,” Palmer said. “I’ve learned so much in the last six years. It’s just going out and performing. … All these guys are awesome, and I appreciate everything they do for me because I consider myself kind of a veteran of the team now just because I’ve been here six years. But these guys have so much knowledge I feel like I’m learning something new every day.”

World Series Of Fighting 35 takes place on Saturday, March 18 from the Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York with Blagoy Ivanov and Shawn Jordan headlining. Fightful will be providing live coverage of the event.
