WWE Raw Results For 12/4: Two Titles On The Line, Paige Returns To The Ring & Somebody Has Become Woken

- The show starts off with highlights of WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns defending the gold against Elias and then the attack by Samoa Joe from last week’s edition of WWE Raw.

- WWE Raw GM Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring, Angle welcomes everybody to the show before running down the card for tonight. Angle gets ready to announce the WWE Intercontinental Title Match for tonight when Jason Jordan interrupts, Jordan says he wants a match with Roman Reigns tonight. Angle says that Jordan cannot compete tonight due to a previous knee injury, Jordan says he wants a chance tonight.

Reigns interrupts and he makes his way to the ring and he has a microphone in hand, Reigns says that he wants to fight Samoa Joe tonight and not Jordan. Reigns tells Jordan that he shouldn’t run to his daddy if he wants a title shot, Jordan says he is the poster boy for WWE management. Joe interrupts and he makes his way to the entrance ramp with a microphone in hand, Joe says his patience has worn thin and he accepts the challenge from Reigns.

Jordan interrupts and says he doesn’t have to talk tough because he is tough, Jordan then challenges Joe as well. Reigns tries talking again and Jordan nails him with an overhead release suplex, Reigns says he will fight Jordan now and Joe later tonight. Angle signals for a referee to come to the ring as we go to a commercial break.

WWE Intercontinental Title Match

Roman Reigns (Champion) vs. Jason Jordan

The match begins with Jordan going behind Reigns to eat an elbow strike, Reigns backs Jordan into the corner while nailing him with strikes. Reigns quickly drops Jordan with a hard Irish whip into the turnbuckles, Reigns knocks Jordan out of the ring and he throws him into the barricade. Reigns picks up Jordan and he throws him right into the ring steps, Reigns gets Jordan in the ring and Jordan takes a few swings at him. Reigns gets angry and he clotheslines Jordan out of the ring, Jordan tries getting back in the ring and Reigns hits him with a Drive By.

Reigns gets Jordan back into the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt, Reigns slows things down by holding Jordan in a chin lock. Jordan backs Reigns into the corner before nailing him with multiple shoulder thrusts, Jordan follows that up by picking up Reigns to ram him into the turnbuckles a few times. Jordan misses a spear in the corner and still sends Reigns into the ring post as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Jordan wrenching away on the arm of Reigns.

Reigns fights back and he cracks Jordan with a headbutt and a clothesline, Reigns traps Jordan in the corner before nailing him with clothesline strikes. Reigns follows that up by dropping v with a running boot to the face for a near fall, Reigns looks for a superman punch and Jordan counters with a drop kick for a near fall. Reigns fights back and he knocks Jordan out of the ring, Jordan then catches a leaping Reigns and he throws him into the ring steps a few times. Jordan gets Reigns in the ring to get a near fall on a pin attempt, Jordan avoids another superman punch to hit Reigns with a Saito suplex for a near fall as we go to a commercial break.

We return from the break to see Reigns attacking the knee of Jordan for a near fall, Reigns then locks Jordan in a single leg crab and Jordan breaks free with a roll up attempt. Reigns then nails Jordan with a superman punch for a near fall, Reigns goes for the spear and Jordan kicks him in the face. Jordan then hits Reigns with a pair of northern lights suplexes for a near fall, Jordan goes for his finisher and Reigns escapes to land a superman punch. Reigns then hits Jordan with the spear for the three count.

Winner: Roman Reigns, still the WWE Intercontinental Champion

After the match, Samoa Joe gets on the microphone and he says that he wants to fight Roman Reigns now as he heads to the ring. Joe attacks Reigns until Jason Jordan attacks Joe from behind, Reigns then knocks Jordan out of the ring with a superman punch.

- WWE Raw GM Kurt Angle is talking on his phone in his office when Jason Jordan arrives, Jordan wants another shot at the WWE Intercontinental Title and a bout with Samoa Joe. Angle gets angry with him before saying that he will take thing under advisement, Joe arrives and he attacks Jordan.

- A video package highlighting Absolution airs.

Paige w/Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville vs. Sasha Banks w/Mickie James & Bayley

The match begins with Paige kicking Banks in the midsection before landing a headbutt, Banks takes Paige down with a Thesz Press before landing a few strikes. Banks then grabs Paige and she tosses her across the ring a few times, Banks then traps Paige in the corner before stomping away on her. Paige recovers and she throws Banks into the middle turnbuckle, Paige slows things down by holding Banks in a chin lock. Banks gets free and she fights back against Paige, Paige recovers and she stomps away at Banks in the corner.

Paige continues her attack by choking Banks on the middle rope, Paige trips up Banks before applying a modified STF. Paige releases the hold in order to get a near fall on Banks, Paige slows things down again before holding Banks in a front face lock. Banks recovers and she catches Paige in a small package before eating a clothesline, Paige traps Banks in the corner again before mauling her with strikes. Banks stops Paige from stomping her to land a knee strike, Banks goes to the top rope and she catches Paige with a high cross body for a near fall.

Banks then locks Paige in the gift wrap stretch before transitioning into a modified camel clutch, Paige eventually gets to the ropes to break the hold. Paige recuperates in the corner before assaulting Banks with strikes, Banks gets up first and she shoves Paige to the ground. Banks and Paige fall out of the ring as they go for each other finishers, we then go to a commercial break. We return from the break to see Paige holding Banks in a front headlock, Paige releases the hold to choke Banks on the top rope.

Banks tries fighting back and Paige nails her with a side kick to the midsection, Banks recovers and she nails Paige with forearm strikes and a drop kick. Banks traps Paige in the corner before landing a double knee strike, Banks misses the next double knee strike and Paige catches her with her own knee strike. Paige goes to the top rope and Banks meets her up there, Paige catches Banks with a sunset flip bomb for a near fall. Paige and Banks have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Paige then clotheslines Banks on the top rope. Paige goes for the Rampaige and Banks counters with the Bank Statement until Paige gets to the ropes, Paige rolls out of the ring and Banks follows her out there.

A brawl breaks out between all the extras on the arena floor, Paige kicks a distracted Banks before landing the Rampaige for the three count.

Winner: Paige w/Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville

After the match, Absolution attacks Sasha Banks as Paige watches from the corner.

- WWE Raw GM Kurt Angle is texting on his phone in his office when Elias arrives, Elias says he wants another shot at the WWE Intercontinental Title and then accuses Angle of playing favoritism with Jason Jordan. Elias then says that Angle's favoritism will cost him in the end, Angle says he'll find Elias an opponent for tonight.

- A video package airs highlighting the feud between Braun Strowman and Kane.

- WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore is backstage with the Zo Train, Amore tells the Zo Train that they need to seize the opportunity tonight. Amore is angry about Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari for losing last week on Raw, Amore tells Drew Gulak and Tony Nese to get the job done tonight. Nia Jax appears and she asks Enzo “how are you doing?”

WWE Cruiserweight Title #1 Contenders Tournament Semi-Final Round Match

Mustafa Ali vs. Drew Gulak vs. Cedric Alexander vs. Tony Nese

The match begins with Gulak and Nese attacking their opponents as the bell sounds, Gulak holds Alexander down with a headlock. Alexander breaks free to knock Gulak out of the ring with a drop kick, Ali then knocks Nese out of the ring with a drop kick. Alexander and Ali go after each other with some chain wrestling, Gulak and Nese drag Ali out of the ring. Alexander then comes out of nowhere to take out Gulak and Nese with a suicide dive, Alexander gets Gulak back in the ring for a near fall. Gulak traps Alexander in the corner as Nese attacks him with strikes, Nese then hangs Alexander upside down in the corner.

Ali appears out of nowhere to take Nese and Gulak out with a high cross body, Gulak and Nese recover to amul Ali with strikes in the corner. Alexander returns to knock Nese out of the ring before punting Gulak in the face, Nese gets back in the ring to hit Alexander with a forearm strike. Ali gets back in the ring before everybody lays each other out as we go to a commercial break, we return from the break to see Gulak applying a modified STF to Alexander. Alexander breaks free and he cracks Gulak with a right, Alexander follows that up by nailing Gulak with a handspring enzaguri for a near fall.

Nese returns to the ring to get hit with a double super kick from Ali and Alexander, Alexander and Ali get into a striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Ali recovers and he clobbers Alexander with a spin kick, Alexander catches a charging Ali with a flipping uranage for a near fall. Nese returns to the ring and he crotches Ali on the top rope, Alexander goes to the top rope and Nese crotches him as well. Nese goes to the top rope and Alexander knocks him back to the mat below, Ali recovers and he nails Alexander with a Spanish Fly for a near fall.

Gulak knocks Alexander out of the ring before hitting Ali with a jaw breaker, Gulak gets angry and he assaults Ali with strikes. Gulak misses a charge in the corner and Ali nails him with a rope assisted enzaguri, Ali goes to the top rope and Nese drags Gulak out of the ring. Nese then drops Ali with a knee strike before landing a running knee strike, Alexander then hits Nese and Ali with Lumbar Checks. Gulak knocks Alexander out of the ring before pinning Ali for the three count.

Winner: Drew Gulak

After the match, Charly Caruso asks Drew Gulak about facing Rich Swann next week. Gulak wants to five a power point presentation and it doesn’t happen.

- Elias is shown walking backstage.

- Elias is in the ring and he performs a song for the WWE Universe, Elias says he will sing until WWE Raw GM Kurt Angle gives him worthy competition. Braun Strowman eventually makes his way to the ring for the match with Elias, Elias pretends to run away before jumping Strowman from behind. Strowman crushes Elias with multiple avalanches before throwing him across the ring, Elias rolls out of the ring before shoving Strowman into the ring post.

Elias smashes his guitar across the back of Strowman and Strowman doesn’t go down, Elias tries running away and Strowman destroys him with a clothesline. Strowman then hits Elias with a running power slam, Strowman then tosses the ring steps into the ring and then Kane’s music plays. Kane appears on the titan tron and he says that Strowman doesn’t know what its like to be a monster among monsters, Kane says he will face Strowman again next week on WWE Raw.

- WWE Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns gives a pep talk to the rest of The Shield in their locker room, Seth Rollins says all of The Shield will hold belts after tonight. Dean Ambrose says he has visualized this moment since the match with The Bar was announced.

Asuka vs. Alicia Fox

The match begins with Fox jumping Asuka and attacking her with strikes as the bell sounds, Fox then tosses Asuka across the ring. Fox looks for the headlock and Asuka breaks free before exchanging shoulder tackles, Asuka then drops Fox with a running hip attack. Asuka follows that up by tossing Fox across the ring, Fox surprises a charging Asuka with a kick for a near fall. Fox keeps Asuka down while pulling her arms backwards, Asuka gets angry and she attacks Fox with a plethora of strikes. Asuka then drops Fox with a running drop kick, Asuka nails Fox with a few kicks before applying the flying arm bar to force a tap out.

Winner: Asuka

After the match, Absolution makes their way to the ring and they just stare at Asuka as she exits the ring. Paige grabs the microphone and she addresses the injured Alicia Fox, Paige says she isn’t here to hurt Fox because Fox was the only one who liked her back in the day. Paige says that Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose don’t like Fox though, which leads to Rose and Deville laying her out.

- Finn Balor is shown walking backstage.

Finn Balor vs. Bo Dallas w/Curtis Axel

The match begins with Dallas dropping Balor for a near fall, Balor fights back to drop Dallas and land a drop kick for a near fall. Dallas gets up and he backs Balor into the corner, Balor gets to the ring apron before nailing Dallas with a kick. Balor goes to the top rope and Axel distracts him so Dallas can knock Balor to the arena floor, Dallas then traps Balor in the ropes before attacking him with strikes. Dallas then nails Balor with a kick to the midsection before landing a knee strike for a near fall, Dallas slows things down by wrenching on the arm of Balor.

Dallas releases the hold so he can stomps away on a downed Balor, Dallas then hits Balor with a knee drop before wrenching away on his arm again. Balor recovers and he drops Dallas with forearm strikes before landing a double stomp, Dallas recovers to catch Balor with a roll up for a near fall. Balor quickly recovers to nail Dallas with a sling blade and shotgun drop kick, Balor catches Dallas with the Cupe Da Grace for the three count.

Winner: Finn Balor

- Highlights are shown of The Bar defeating The Shield to win the WWE Raw tag Team Titles last month.

- Highlights are shown of Matt Hardy’s apparent breakdown last week on WWE Raw, followed by a look at his recent twitter posts. Bray Wyatt appears on the titan tron and he questions just who Matt Hardy is, Hardy interrupts to say his soul has wandered through space and time. The video feed continues going back and forth between Hardy and Wyatt, Hardy then says he sentences Wyatt to deletion.

WWE Raw Tag Team Title Match

The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) (Champions) vs. The Shield (Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose)

The match begins with Cesaro and Ambrose doing some chain wrestling, Ambrose then catches Cesaro with a few arm drags. Ambrose starts working over the arm of Cesaro, Cesaro punches Ambrose before tagging Sheamus in. Ambrose quickly attacks Sheamus with stomps in the corner, Cesaro attacks Rollins on the arena floor so Sheamus can drop Ambrose with a clothesline in the ring. Cesaro tags in and he attacks Ambrose with European uppercuts in the corner, Sheamus tags in so he can hit Ambrose with a double side kick with Cesaro.

Sheamus drops Ambrose before choking him with his foot, Cesaro chokes Ambrose on the ropes while Sheamus distracts the referee. Sheamus then wrenches away on the arm of Ambrose, Ambrose eventually fights back and he tags Rollins into the match. Rollins cleans house on the opposing team before nailing Sheamus with a blockbuster followed by a sling blade, Rollins then knocks Sheamus to the arena floor. Rollins goes for a dive and Cesaro gets Sheamus out of the way, Sheamus throws Rollins into the ring post as we go to a commercial break.

We return from the break to see Cesaro working over Rollins with a bear hug, Sheamus tags in and he works with Cesaro to hit Rollins with a double clothesline. Sheamus traps Rollins in the ropes while attacking him with strikes, Cesaro tags in and he drops Rollins for a near fall. Sheamus tags back in and he also gets a near fall on Rollins, Sheamus then wrenches away on the arm of Rollins. Rollins breaks free and he drops Sheamus with a DDT, Cesaro tags in and he drops Rollins before working over his arm some more.

Cesaro knocks Ambrose off the ring apron before tagging Sheamus in, The Bar hits Rollins with an elevated European uppercut for a near fall. Sheamus again decides to wrench away on the arm of Rollins, Rollins eventually escapes the grasp of Sheamus to knock him out of the ring with a super kick. Cesaro tags in and Ambrose gets the tag in as well, Ambrose immediately goes after Ambrose and Ambrose propels him out of the ring. Ambrose goes for a dive and Cesaro nails him with an European uppercut, Cesaro goes for the top rope high cross body and Ambrose rolls through for a near fall.

Cesaro goes for the Cesaro Swing and Ambrose counters with a roll up for a near fall, Ambrose gets trapped in the ropes and Sheamus nails him with a knee strike for a near fall. The Bar goes for a Doomsday Device and Ambrose winds up sending Cesaro into the turnbuckle, Rollins tags in and he catches Sheamus with a superplex into a falcon arrow for a near fall. Cesaro jumps Rollins and he attacks him with a few strikes, Cesaro tags in and he goes for the Neutralizer. Rollins counters the Neutralizer to hit Cesaro with a knee strike for the near fall, Sheamus hits the ring and he mauls Rollins with strikes until the referee calls for the bell.

Winners: The Shield (Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose) by DQ, but The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) are still the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions

After the match, WWE Raw GM Kurt Angle comes out and he says the match is being restarted as a No DQ match.

WWE Raw Tag Team Title Match (No DQ Match)

The Bar (Sheamus & Cesaro) (Champions) vs. The Shield (Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose)

The match restarts with the Shield taking out The Bar with suicide dives, The Shield then throw Sheamus into the ring steps. Ambrose nails Cesaro with a clothesline and Rollins lands a frog splash for a near fall, Samoa Joe comes out and he attacks The Shield. Roman Reigns makes his way to the ring and he chases Joe into the crowd, Sheamus hits Ambrose with a Brogue Kick from out of nowhere to get the three count.

Winners: The Bar, still the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions
