Matt & Jeff Hardy Said To Be Considering Two Different TNA Contract Options

Broken Matt and Brother Nero might not be leaving the Zone of Impact any time soon, but nothing is "oh-fee-shal"--excuse me, "official"--just yet.

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Matt and Jeff Hardy have not signed new contracts with Impact Wrestling as of this time. Their current deals expire in February.

There are two offers currently on the table for them; One is a guaranteed deal where they would have full autonomy for bookings outside the promotion, and the other is a deal for higher guaranteed money, but any outside bookings would have to be approved Anthem and TNA. The WON adds that Matt is leaning toward accepting one of the offers and staying with the company, since TNA has given him full control of his own creative. This would be highly unlikely were he to jump ship to WWE.

As far as his brother Jeff goes, the sticking point for him may be an agreement regarding the number of dates per year. The current assumed plan is to go back to running a regular house show schedule, which would require more time on the road and more bumps taken over the course of a year.
