Fresh off of the heels of a controversial WWE run, Mauro Ranallo will serve as play-by-play announcer for Rizin.
Also joining Ranallo will be legendary MMA Fighter Frank Shamrock. The two will provide commentating duties for this weekend's Rizin show in Yokohama on the FITE TV app.
Ranallo has been in headlines of late, as he left his job as Smackdown Live lead announcer due to longtime WWE personality John Bradshaw Layfield's alleged incessant bullying. WWE are reportedly working on a settlement that would include a gag order on the wrestling, boxing, MMA and kickboxing commentator.
