Mickey Gall Is Back At UFC 217

A welterweight division attraction has been added to the upcoming UFC 217 card as Mickey Gall is in action against Randy Brown.

Newsday was the first to report the fight.

Gall (4-0-0) has already earned three wins under the UFC banner, coming over Mike Jackson, former WWE World Champion CM Punk and Sage Northcutt. Gall did competed once outside of the UFC as a pro, defeating Ron Templeton by first round submission at Dead Serious MMA 17 in November 2015. Gall also went undefeated during his two fight amateur MMA run, defeating the duo of Marvin Nino and Woodmy Jean.

Brown (9-2-0) has won three of five fights during his UFC tenure, with his victories coming over Matt Dwyer, Erick Montano and Brian Camozzi. Brown also competed in the Ring Of Combat promotion, winning all six fights that he competed at there. Brown has only seen two of his professional MMA fights go the distance and both of those fights came during his UFC run.

UFC 217 takes place on Saturday, November 4 from Madison Square Garden in New York, New York with Michael Bisping and Georges St. Pierre headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
