Mickey Gall does not think CM Punk should fight again in the UFC.

Gall expressed that opinion during a recent video interview with TMZ Sports

When asked about Punk aspiring to have his second pro MMA fight back inside the UFC Octagon, Gall tried to hedge on stating his take on the matter before concluding his answer on the question by bluntly stating Punk should fight somewhere else:

"I respect that. I don't know. It's not my place to say. I don;'t know if he should fight [in the] UFC. I think he should probably have fought elsewhere first. but hey, I respect that he wants to get back at it and go for it. Hats off to him. he should probably do it elsewhere, man. He should probably fight elsewhere."

Punk, a former professional wrestler and world champion for WWE, made his MMA debut in September at UFC 203 against Gall. Punk took the fight after more than two years of training, but was dominated by Gall, who submitted Punk at the 2:15 mark of the first round.

Even before facing Punk, Gall expressed the opinion that he did not feel their bout at UFC 203 deserved its spot on the card.

UFC President Dana White has stated as recently as an October interview with UFC Tonight that he does not think Punk will continue to fight in the UFC.

As for Gall, he is gearing up to face Sage Northcutt on Dec. 17 at UFC on Fox 22 in Sacramento, Calif.

"Everything's been great. that's all I've been doing is training," Gal said. "Training hard, busting my butt, putting in crazy work -- blood, sweat, and tears everyday. me and my boys, we're going at it, getting ready, we're ready for war. we can't wait."

Gall added that Northcutt was "in for a bad night -- a bad time."

UFC on Fox 22 is headlined by Paige VanZant facing Michelle Waterson in a strawweight female bout. The card also includes what has already been announced as the final fight for Urijah Faber, who will face Brad Pickett.
