Mike Kanellis appeared in WWE with a boom in 2017, but as we roll into December, has won only one singles match across TNA and WWE this year.
Kanellis, who has battled addiction, commented on being left off of WWE's Survivor Series show this weekend, saying that it fuels him to improve.

Kanellis' wife Maria is having the couple's first child, and she's been off TV since late September. This doesn't seem to have done Mike's on-screen character any favors, as he's wrestled on WWE television once since the beginning of September. He has, however, been on house show loops with regularity since then.
