There may not be a lot of live MMA events coming our way in the next few weeks and/or month due to the coronavirus, but that won’t stop the UFC or ESPN from providing the action to their viewers.
That’s because ESPN will be airing eleven straight hours of UFC action this coming Saturday.
Ariel Helwani of ESPN revealed the news via Twitter:
ESPN will air 11 straight hours of classic UFC programming on Saturday. Fights include, Jones/Gus 1, McGregor/Diaz 1 and 2, Shogun/Hendo 1, Gastelum/Adesanya, Masvidal/Diaz and more.— Ariel Helwani (@arielhelwani) March 17, 2020
According to Helwani, some of the fights will include UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones versus Alexander Gustafsson from UFC 165, former two division UFC champion Conor McGregor versus Nate Diaz from UFC 196 and UFC 202, plus former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Mauricio Rua versus Dan Henderson from UFC 139, UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya versus Kelvin Gastelum from UFC 236, BMF Champion Jorge Masvidal versus Nate Diaz from UFC 244 and more to be announced.
The action is scheduled to kick off at noon eastern time on ESPN, although some pre-marathon action will take place on ESPN 2 and ESPN News starting at midnight eastern time.
