Adam Milstead suffered the first UFC defeat of his career at UFC Fight Night 104, that defeat came at the hands of Curtis Blaydes. Milstead, at the end of round one, had suffered a noticeable knee injury, with UFC color commentator Brian Stann talking about it in between rounds. Stann even criticized the corner of Milstead for sending him out to compete in the second round against Blaydes.
